History of Santander Cacao Company
Santander Cacao Company was founded just three years ago, born from the visionary dream of a 17-year-old determined to embark on the cacao market. From the very beginning, the purpose was clear: to gain experience and knowledge in the agribusiness world and transform them into a company defined by excellence and superior quality.
The opportunity arose in the midst of the global cacao crisis and the pressing need to revitalize an underdeveloped sector in Colombia. This journey began in the department of Santander and has since expanded, now working with cacao beans sourced from various regions across the country.
What truly sets the company apart is the creation of a special cacao, enhanced with a unique added value during the fermentation process. This has been made possible thanks to the expertise of its agronomist, who brings over 40 years of experience in the cacao industry, cementing the company’s reputation as a benchmark in innovation and quality.
